Foreign character support in playlist filenames
I recently started using the Synology Audio Station app as a control point on my iPad when I'm in the mood to build/amend permanent playlists. It has the nice feature that I get stored .m3u playlist files available to all devices, with entries based on relative path names, and I can create new playlists on the fly.
I notice that when Minimserver scans playlists with file-entries containing foreign characters it is unable to find the file. Foobar also complains. Is the Audio Station app not using the character set properly, e.g. do I need .m3u8 playlist files? Wondered if there was a simple fix for this, rather than amending filenames each time this issue pops up. Thanks, Adam. |
