Skipping album-level

But I just saw that if I select an artist who has only one track that comes from an album with various artists, then the album-level is skipped and the song is shown, together with the ">>complete album" option. Maybe that helps?

OK, this explains the problem. If the tracks of an album have different artists and there is no AlbumArtist tag, MinimServer isn't able to merge the album tracks into a single album and you will get the problem you are seeing. The fix is to populate the AlbumArtist tag for all such albums.
