I had to stop and start the minimserver package via DSM to see them. Maybe the manual should describe the mentioned restart in more detail to make this clearer...

You need to select Relaunch from the Packages tab, not Restart from the minim icon. The need for a relaunch to apply package changes is stated clearly in the text on the Packages tab.
