MinimWatch not connecting to MinimServer

At the moment when I try to start MinimWatch I get an error:

"you can't open the application 'MinimWatch.app' because it is not responding.

I have rebooted the MacBook a couple of times.

Any suggestions?

Sorted.

ok. i rebooted the synology NAS and can now connect to MinimServer with MinimWatch.

Package Centre reported that MinimServer was running before the reboot, but I believe it had crashed.

Is there an easy way to tell if MinimServer is running ok?
