OK, disabling IGMP snooping had no effect, but, choosing Music servers and then waiting 15 minutes before clicking MinimServer brings up the listings on the first try, in fact I can get all the way to choosing a song without the "no media" showing up. Restarting the app and choosing MinimServer immediately brings back the old problem.
Definitely on to something here
