MinimServer streams the audio file "as is" and I don't have any plans to add audio processing for sound level equalization.

I have noticed this quite a lot recently. Both 24 bit vs 16 and older vs newer albums. it does become irritating when you have built a long playlist and risks temporary deafness Think of the nation's ears Simon (joke honest - could do with other features first)

Could foobar replaygain do the thrick?
