2) Yes, MinimServer does find this test1.flac file (and only this file).

I think there must be a problem with the permissions on either the '02 Jazz' directory or the 'Norah Jones' directory. The minimserver daemon user is able to see the '02 Jazz' directory, but isn't able to see the 'Norah Jones' directory underneath it.
