It sounds like folder view in Lightning DS is the same as the top-level view that Kinsky provides (and is not the same as [folder view] in MinimServer). This means that library view in Lightning DS is something specific to Lightning DS and you would need to contact the Lightning DS developers to see if there is any way to get this to work in the way you would prefer.
