How can I tell when scan is finished?

There is no need for the status page to show these totals after the scan has finished because you can see them from the top-level menu in your control point.

At first I thought you wanted to know how far through the scan you are (for which a track total would be sufficient) but now I am not sure why you want this information.

I think it would be good to know how far, as a percentage, the rescan has progressed, as one number for each separate category, like tracks and finished/partially_finished albums.

Having these numbers appear in the top level menu in the control point seems rather pointless; not something you actually care about at play time.
