I followed this topic well and did exactly everything advised herein. I have also the currrent update 72. BUT: This does not work with my flac library on my Synology x86 NAS now.
All that same setup with Date and Decade worked perfectly a year ago before you changed it. Now it is broken. The configuration as described in here does not work correctly on my Synology x86 NAS now.
What I constantly get is just the same single years listing under Decade _and_ under Date. That means the Date list is correct. The Decade list is broken as it only shows the single years.

My config:
index Tags: MusicStyle: Musical Style, AlbumArtist: Album Artist, Decade, Date:Year, Genre, BPM:Rating, All Artists, Composer, Conductor, RecordType:Studio / Live

tagOptions: AlbumArtist.ignore.sort.index={The, Die, Les}, Artist.ignore.sort.index={The, Die, Les}, Decade.decade.index, Date.yearOnly.*

tagValue: AlbumDate.default={Date}, Decade.default={Date}
