GETTING STARTED

To start from the source, I have FIOS fiber optic internet at 30 up/30 down service. I have installed the Buffalo WXR-1900HPD router. I am also using a Netgear Pro ethernet switch. I have a QNAP TS-231 NAS with Seagate HD that is hardwired to the network. My Naim ND5XS streamer is also hardwired to the network. Both the NAS and the Naim are connected to the switch and from there to the router. I am using an iPad Mini 2 and an iPhone 6 as control devices with the Naim streaming software.
Again, thanks so much for your help with this. I am no IT genius, but even with my limited knowledge and experience I am baffled. The Minimserver program I am using was on the QNAP "app store."
