To view the MinimServer log, you should install and run MinimWatch on another computer on your local network.

Yes, this is possible. If the songs are in different folders (e.g., ripped using iTunes), you should set the mergeFolderAlbums property to true and make sure all the songs have the same AlbumArtist tag value.
