When you say incorrect format, what format do they need to be that they are not? I've only used dBp to rip, never to convert from one format to another.

I am surprised that a file ripped from CD by dBpoweramp would have this problem. I have seen it with files ripped with early versions of JRiver and I have seen it with a few downloads from Qobuz.

The files with "unexpected end of file" errors are in AIFF format. This format consists of chunks and each chunk has a length. If some of the chunk lengths aren't correct, you will get this error message. Converting the file from AIFF to AIFF using dBpoweramp should fix the incorrect chunk lengths without changing any of the audio data. It would be a good idea to try this on one file or album first to confirm that the conversion was successful. Make sure you have a backup of the test file or album you are converting.

Quote:When you say I'm scanning files in the @Recycle folder, buy scanning you mean copying? Or do you mean they are being scanned by MinimServer because they are in the wrong directory? If it's the latter and @ recycle is in the wrong directory (folder), where should it be to not be scanned by MinimServer?

I mean MinimServer is reading them thinking they are part of your library, but actually they aren't part of your library. This will cause you to see some duplicates as you described in an earlier post.

To fix this, you would need to change your settings for the contentDir property so that the @Recycle folder is excluded from scanning. What do you have in the contentDir property at the moment, and what top-level folder or folders are you using for your music library?

You're most welcome!
