The second paragraph of this page indicates that Serviio needs to use a custom device profile to enable DLNA on 2010 Sony devices. Actually, having been involved in those discussions at the time I say it isn't quite as bad as that.

Most of those discussions were in fact a debate on whether one should use a blanket remux and transcode for everything or try to make the Sony play as much as possible native.
For audio outside of sound tracks inside video mux files there's only one alternative,lpcm. So if the Sony could be made to accept minimserver as a dlna server, the only effort left would be to make minimstreamer always step.in and send lpcm, linear pcm, to the Sony.

Not that I'd put a significant effort into that, either. Not that terribly important,just nice to have.
