A visibility and access test.
Minimserver running in a FreeNAS FreeBSD (standard) jail, with ffmpeg, java and wget added.
ldconfig needed running to add /usr/local/lib to the library hints.
My Denon AVR-1912 receiver can see the minimserver fine.
My Sony BDP-S370, however, claims that minimserver does not support DLNA....???
That machine is really old, but as audio players go, it's very good, and it works well with Serviio since the first beta. What gives? Is that special to this FreeBSD version, or is it always so for these Sony BDP-s??
This issue isn't related to FreeBSD. See this post and subsequent discussion on the same thread. The conclusion was that I don't know what the Sony device doesn't like about MinimServer and I don't have any way to find out.
Could it be possible to get some log data on what minimserver tells the Sony and what the Sony thinks of that?
