You can download the latest version of Java Manager from this page. For the EDS14, you need the armada370 version.

If this doesn't work, you might be able to install the Java package from this package repository. See this post for tutorial instructions.

If you are able to install Java, you should able to do a manual install of the MinimServer download for Synology ARMv7.

I have been able to install Java using the link above and have also installed Minimserver successfully.
As I was short of time I was not able to test to see MinimServer but it shows up as working with no issues.
