I didn't have much luck on Channel 1 as this is the channel that most of my neighbours are using. I will try 6 and 11 at some point.

I have setup my router aacording to the advice on this webpage:

http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/broadb...mum-speed/

My devices now see two networks, one of which is dedicated to 5GHz. I have also disabled smart setup. Whether or not it might make a difference I don't know. At present, everything is working. Playback is being activated and the Now Playing screen is displaying and updating correctly.

Am I right in assuming that to connect at 5GHz would be the best option ... but now with the BT Home Hub 4?

I believe it's the opposite. The Home Hub has an issue with multicast over 5 GHz, so it would be best to connect all your devices to the 2.4 GHz network on the least congested channel out of 1, 6 and 11.

With your current working setup, are your other devices connecting using the 2.4 GHz network name or the 5 GHz network name?
