Minimwatch, like MinimServer, is written in Java, which is not natively available or supported on either iOs or Android. While programming 'bridges' allowing the use of Java on these platforms are available, I guess that Simon would not wish to support anything that is not available from the respective app stores.
The advantage of using Java from the user perspective is that it it is supported on a whole host of other platforms, including, crucially, a number of NAS models. David |
