I hope you do consider this approach. Right now, I rip CDs via XLD and then import into iTunes. New tracks are added to my iTunes playlists "New Music" and "New Classical", which is indexed and presented via MinimServer. But I am constantly rearranging albums within the playlist to group things, which is tedious. Of course, I could create new playlists, but I really want to browse these by album, album artist, et al., on-the-fly, without manually curating a bunch of playlists. Something MinimServer does very well, in general ... :-) |
