In my own case, I have two separate scenarios for media streaming from my Synology NAS. For music, I use BubbleUPnP on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 to handle files served by MinimServer on the NAS. For video, I simply use Oppo's MediaControl HD app on my iPad. Oppo's app is rather kludgy in many ways but it does the job for the relatively limited number of MKV rips I have made of my DVD/BD collection.

Hi David,

I'm not using the android Bubble UPnP app, rather the BubbleUPNPserver. I do this because it allow the OPPO to emulate an OpenHome media device. I was otherwise unable to get the Lumin app to recognize the Oppo under 'choose a Lumin'. Once the OPPO is chosen I can choose either the Synology or Minimserver. If there i a better way, please let me know!
