MinimServer uses the UPnP protocol which doesn't include any provision for security. This is because UPnP devices are normally used on a home network where there wouldn't usually be any other hostile devices or users who shouldn't be allowed to have access to your music library.

If you are running MinimServer on a local network that does have other hostile devices or users, you would need to isolate the machine running MinimServer at the network level using a separate subnet or VLAN.

If your local network is connected to the internet via a router, the router firewall settings should prevent any hostile access to MinimServer from internet users.
