Transcoding issues with recent update

Minimserver has been running flawlessly for months, but after a recent update it will no longer transcode, despite the correct field (*:wav24) in the system properties . I am running minimserver on a synology DS214+ and as well as uodating minimserver and streamer I also recently upgraded the OS from 4.3 to 5. Could this be the problem ie is there an issue with the ffmpeg side of things on the synology? If so, how might I fix it??

What file or network stream are you trying to transcode?

Does the file or stream play in its original format, or does something else happen?
