I will continue to test and open another thread and share my experiences on that. Because, as I mentioned earlier, this need for a UPNP client with a server as good as yours, is great. So I'm sure a lot of people will find this useful.

One this I just noticed, I've had to restart the server for VLC, which had been shut down to pick it up. But it was almost instantaneous that the server showed up on VLC, once I hit "Restart." And now it will take a few hours to do what it did with your library. It's sad that VLC won't "save" the server. It has to rescan each time it's restarted. So, I guess, we're still far from the solution.

Any chance you'd get to the other points raised in my original post; such as with Alt-F and you LINN option.

Thanks a lot.

VLC has been scanning for almost 6 hours now. This library contains less than 500 files and shows up in other control points in a second or two.

If Alt-F is based on Linux, it might be able to run the Linux ARM download of MinimServer. I can't try this because I don't have the necessary hardware.

I'm very pleased with my Linn DS. The sound quality is excellent and it works very reliably. See this link for a list of supported formats.
