Thanks a lot.

I downloaded VLC 2.0.8 and pointed it at my small MinimServer library. It is currently attempting to recursively preload the complete MinimServer Intelligent Browsing tree, which would take several hours with a medium-sized library and several days with a large library. I have added this information to the Control points section of the User guide.

Good.

I will continue to test and open another thread and share my experiences on that. Because, as I mentioned earlier, this need for a UPNP client with a server as good as yours, is great. So I'm sure a lot of people will find this useful.

One this I just noticed, I've had to restart the server for VLC, which had been shut down to pick it up. But it was almost instantaneous that the server showed up on VLC, once I hit "Restart." And now it will take a few hours to do what it did with your library. It's sad that VLC won't "save" the server. It has to rescan each time it's restarted. So, I guess, we're still far from the solution.

Any chance you'd get to the other points raised in my original post; such as with Alt-F and you LINN option.

Thanks a lot.
