I am investigating adding support for dragging and dropping a folder name into the contentDir field on Mac OS X. As with all potential future enhancements, I can't give a definite commitment to add this support or give any estimate for when it might be available.

The list of control points is provided for guidance and isn't intended to be a complete list. If you are having problems getting a control point (such as Kinsky) to work, your best option is to post to the support forum for the control point.

I know you're busy, but perhaps you add the version of VLC I've tested and that works on that list of "control points."
