I am running minimserver headlessly on a Raspberry Pi.
Works like a charm.
Is there a way to trigger a rescan by just entering a ssh command?
I would love to do so from my iPhone, using the vSHH app - there I can define certain actions, that log into the RPi and then send a command using SSH.

The best way to do this from any device that has a web browser is via the MinimServer status web page.

If you want to issue other commands, you can do this by installing MinimWatch on the Raspberry Pi (see this section for details). After doing this, you need to login via SSH and type

minimwatch/bin/startc

to launch the MinimWatch console interface. See the second part of this section for a list of console commands.

You might want to set up MinimWatch command scripts for certain actions. See this post for details of how to do this. The next MinimWatch update will have some changes to make the scripts slightly simpler.
