I'm pleased you have found the cause of the problem.

All my switches are L2. I looked at L3 and decided it added too much complexity for no significant benefit.

Simon, I can confirm that this was the issue.

I don't remember why I put my Buffalo on L3 but now I am back on L2 and all is back to normal !

Just so I can understand your problem, can you tell me what L2 and L3 is?
I don't think I have seen those settings on a switch before.

There is a technical explanation in this article. However, you don't need to understand this. Just carry on using level 2 as you have been doing. Smile
