MinimWatch crashes computer, or just doesnt work at all.
First, this may be because I am on Ubuntu 23.04 because it's the only version of Ubuntu desktop that is stable on my brand new hardware, Ryzen 7950X , a Powercolor 7900XTX, and X670E Asus ProArt motherboard. However, I thought I would bring it up anyway just in case there is something else going on.
Minimwatch starts, sees my Minimserver installation, the icon turns green, then nothing. Clicking on it does one of two things. nothing, or the context menu opens and the desktop crashes and I need to re log in. You tell me what you want from me to help diagnose and I will provide it. |

Ok, After a hard reset it does appear to be working better.

RE: MinimWatch crashes computer, or just doesnt work at all.
If this happens again, check the minimwatch.log and minimwatch-out.log files in the minimwatch/data folder for any error messages. You need to do this before you relaunch MinimWatch. Also, look in the same folder for any files whose names start with minimwatch-crash or hs_err_pid.

RE: MinimWatch crashes computer, or just doesnt work at all.
This might be caused by the missing canberra-gtk-module (message from first screenshot). See this thread for suggestions about how to fix this.
