two minimserver confgurations

Hi Simon,

I want to switch between two minimserver confgurations sets or
even better to have two confgurations sets in parallel.

my usecase:
A: I hear over loudspeakers and use equalizer or convoling ( stream.options: convOut=...)
B: I hear over headphone and equalizer/convoling should be turned off

Is there a possibility to switch the configurations sets from a tablet or
even better to have both confgurations in parallel and could I choose the right one on a tablet ?

Which platform (Windows, Mac, QNAP, Synology, Linux, etc.) are you using to run MinimServer? On some platforms, it is possible to run two MinimServer instances with different configurations.

QNAP with Intel CPU ?

If your NAS can run Container Station (most QNAP Intel models should be able to do this), you can use the instructions in this post to create a second instance of MinimServer.

Aside from Qnap, can any other platform run more than 1 configuration?

Was thinking that maybe this is one way to compare streaming options? But given that it takes effort to set up, it is much easier to edit the config on Minimwatch and restart.

Running multiple instances of MinimServer is fully supported on Linux. Someone has got it to work on Synology but there is currently no official support or instructions for this.
