Help installing ffmpeg
Hi,

I installed ffmpeg according to the instructions in MinimStreamer guide but it is not recognized and I cannot use 'stream.transcode' options.
I keep on getting 'converter not installed'.
What I am doing wrong ?

Thanks.

RE: Help installing ffmpeg
I think you may need to make the ffmpeg executable and give execute permission for it (depending on users and what you are running it on)

What machine are you using to run MinimStreamer and install ffmpeg?

Minimwatch is on Windows 10, MinimStream is on Melco.

Did you power the Melco off and on after copying ffmpeg to opt/bin, as described in the last paragraph of this section?

Simon,
My mistake, I installed the wrong version of ffmpeg. Then followed the NEW instructions "[NEW] You can download a suitable ffmpeg static binary from this page. For the Melco N1, you need the armhf build."
and everything works perfectly !
Thank you!
