flac:L24/192;wav24 doesn't work
flac:L24/192;wav24;96 doesn't work

So it would appear that the combination of Lnn and wavnn doesn't work

Which control point are you using? If it is BubbleUPnP, do you have strict MIME-type checking enabled?

I'm using upplay, a fairly basic linux CP that has very few options.

I tried using the Marantz's own controls and indeed it does work with the Lnn wavnn mix.

I then tried bubbleunp (android). The mime-type check is not on, but it didn't work.

Odd.

What exactly is happening? Does the stream play? If so, what do you hear?

My DAC is DoP capable only (Matrix X-Sabre - does not support native DSD). Since latest update, when I try to stream DSF converted to DoP Wave on-the-fly, the DAC does not engage DSD mode (I am using "dsf:dopwav" flag). I hear a very high pitch and constant noise through my speakers. Anyway, I can perfectly stream previously encoded DoP content on FLAC files (assembled with Lumin DSD modified foobar component).

By the way, on-the-fly transcode to DoP worked like a charm before the update.

Thanks for this information. I have found the cause of the problem and a fix should be available soon.

For this to work, you need the MIME-type check to be on. If it isn't on, BubbleUPnP will try to send the L24;192 stream to the Marantz.

Unfortunately that's not practical. The room with the Marantz has very weak wifi (to even test with bubbleupnp I had to go to another room).

So I use upplay on my linux desktop instead. I have no idea at all why L24;192/L16;96 works, but L24;192/wav24;96 doesn't, but then I don't understand the relationship between the renderer, CP and server well enough. It isn't critical, but is strange.

RE: Transcoding down
For the record, dsf:dopwav has stopped working for me too. All I get is a noise reminiscent of the lead in to a worn vinyl. I have a separate but possibly connected issue in that the control point response is virtually non existent. After selecting the first track I have to resort to the streamer remote to do anything more. This has all happened since the last round of updates.
NAS is a Qnap hs251, streamer chord dsx1000 control point is either iPad or nexus7 running the chord hd app. Bubble UPnP on the nexus is just usable but still very slow to detect both the streamer and MinimServer.
Is there a way I can roll back to MinimServer update 59 and minimstreamer 0.5.4 as they worked fine.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I am about to release MinimStreamer 0.5.9 with a fix for this problem (should be in the next few minutes).

Ahh bliss! Everything appears to be back to normal. Thank you Simon.
