Minim Watch and Java Version

in the morning i freshly installed Win 8.1 on my hardware with Java 7 Update 51. Applications needing Java working fine unfortunately Minim Watch not.

With installed

minimwatch 0.8.1 install x86

i get a message :
+ runtime platform conflict windows x64 windows x86

With installed
minimwatch 0.8.1 install x64
i get a message :
+ c: ..... MinimWatch\lib\ohnet.dell\cant load amd 64 64 bit .dll on a ia 32 bit platform

Some ideas what to do ?

Please do the following:

1) Uninstall MinimWatch

2) Check whether the folder C:\Program Files\MinimWatch\lib

contains any files. If it does, delete the complete contents of this folder.

3) Check whether the folder

C:\Users\<your-user-name>\AppData\Roaming\MinimWatch\libext

contains any files. If it does, delete the complete contents of this folder. Note: The AppData folder is hidden in Explorer, so you need to type this complete path into the Explorer address bar.

4) Install the x86 version of MinimWatch.

I have the same problem. I have just installed Minim Server on my QNAP TS-469L. I need Minim Watch but cannot get past these two error mesages. I've tried following the suggestions, uninstalling and reinstalling. i have 64 bit windows 7 with 64 bit java. but no difference.
Any other ideas.

Did you have a previous installation of MinimWatch or is this your first installation?

Do you only have 64-bit Java installed or do you have 32-bit Java as well?

Do you currently have the 64-bit or 32-bit version of MinimWatch installed?

What error message do you get when you start MinimWatch?

Thanks. This is my first attempt to install minimwatch.
I had java 32-bit installed but have uninstalled this and installed the 64-bit version. I have tried minim watch in 64 and 86 versions. the error messages are the same as at the start of this thread.
By the way my very first attempt got me into Nkia suite which I have uninstalled.

Thanks, Have done this. First these folders had been delete by uninstalling. I did check. I found their equivalents in Program files (x86) and manually deleted these. I have reinstalled MinimWatch x64 and have the same runtime config message again.
