MinimWatch 0.81 Not Starting

Hi,

I've just upgraded MinimWatch on my Mac (OS X 10.9.1) using the MinimWatch-0.8.1b-macosx.dmg file. I received a msg to updata Java, so did that and now have java version "1.7.0_51".

When I try to run MinimWatch i get a dialog box with the following message:

Class not found: org.jminim.core.Launcherlmpl

Any clues??

I have tried this with Mac OS X 10.9.1 and Java version 1.7.0_51 and it is working fine for me.

Is it possible that your MinimWatch download might have been damaged in some way? Please try downloading the MinimWatch-0.8.1b-macosx.dmg file again, double-clicking on this file to open it, and then double-clicking on the MinimWatch icon in the MinimWatch-0.8.1-macosx window.

Thanks for the reply - I downloaded again and launched MinimWatch from the maxosx window, but not luck - same error. The application Size is 1,601,764 bytes in the App directory.

Something strange has happened since the upgrade, it seemed to boot up OK the first time, then the error has come up since the relaunch.

I've also tried re-installing Java.

Also checked by CLASSPATH and PATH, both empty.

This is a useful clue. Please try renaming the folder

/Users/<your-user-name>/Library/MinimWatch/libext

to

/Users/<your-user-name>/Library/MinimWatch/libext-save

and then restarting MinimWatch. The /Users/<your-user-name>/Library folder is hidden in the Finder, so you will need to use "Go to Folder" to view it.

If this works, I would like to see the complete contents of the renamed libext-save folder. Can you post a screenshot of the folder contents? Please also retain these files for the time being, as I might need to see what they contain.

It looks like the file jminim-0.6.113.jar is truncated. The correct length of this file is 314368. Did you see any error messages when the update was being downloaded?
