Unable to see my renderer (Auralic Aries)

Hi,

I'm running a test version of Minim on my NAS.
With connect light I'm only seeing my Samsung TV as a UPnP Device but not my Auralic.
When testing Roon I was immediately able to see the latter so I woud expect this to happen as well on the minim server.

Anyone a clue to what might be wrong? I really would like to test the minim server as I was not so satisfied about Roon.

Roon is not upnp, this is a fact and can explain a different behavior.
Can’t you use the Auralic app Lightning DS? It should be able to work with Minimserver.
It seems Auralic upnp is a bit “choosy” , it neither works as an endpoint with Audirvana

I'm not sure what "connect light" is and whether you're on iOS or Android. Try either mConnect (iOS) or BubbleUPnP (Android) for control points.

I don't think the detection of a UPnP renderer by a control point is dependent on the server. I would guess not.

I used Auralic Aries for a long time. Therefore, I highly recommend the Lightning DS app; it works flawlessly with Minim and Aries.
