RE: License server error 500
I see what is causing this. You need to do the following:
1) Exit MinimServer 2) Delete the minimserver-starter.license and minimserver.license files from the data directory in your MinimServer installation 3) Start MinimServer 4) MinimServer should start with a starter license and no error message 5) Open the License tab of the MinimServer configuration web page 6) Activate your full license |

RE: License server error 500
Thank you for your patience and persistence. When something goes wrong with the licensing mechanism, it can be difficult to recover from it.

RE: License server error 500
I am trying to set up a new Synology 225+ NAS to replace an older model. Both drives are attached to my Mac. I didn't uninstall MinimServer from the older drive before installing to the 225+. This may have caused the following error message:
License server error 500: [d0432f0a] [8] Undefined index: ukey in file /home/jminimco/minimworld/activate-license-2.2g3.php on line 2998; resetting to Starter Edition I've tried the suggested remedy of deleting the minimserver-starter.license file, the minimserver.license file wasn't present. The error message was still present following a restart. |

RE: License server error 500
Thanks for letting me know about this. The problem should now be fixed if you do another restart. It was caused by a change I made recently to fix another license issue. My apologies for the inconvenience.

After the restart last night, the license was accepted. Message: two of three licenses active. Then I installed a second instance. After the first start, the icon remained red. Message: Port is used by another system. The license was not automatically active. The port number was used by an instance of the first server. I changed this on the first server. After the restart, all icons of both servers were red. No active licenses have been displayed in your license management on internet. As a temporary solution, I suggest to unlock the possibility of trial license again. |

RE: License server error 500
This issue with port numbers is not related to the previous license issue. If you are running multiple instances of MinimServer on the same device, each instance needs to have a different setting in the http.port and ohnet.port properties.
The first instance should have the default settings of http:port 9790 and ohnet.port 9791. A second instance could have http:port 9792 and ohnet.port 9793 and a third instance could have http:port 9794 and ohnet.port 9795, etc. These port numbers are examples and you can use other port numbers as long as they are not being used by anything else running on the device. |

RE: License server error 500
Hi Simon,
I've just had to set-up my QNAP nas again. I'm having trouble entering the licence details. This is what I see in MinimServer: License server error 500: [6b15fdae] Incorrect license type 4; resetting to Starter Edition License server error 500: [6b5fb537] Incorrect license type 4 Just to add, I did try deleting the license files as above and restarting, but with no luck. Please help! Kind regards Hayden |
