Only part library on iPadOS
Hello,
I have Eversolo DMP-A6 streamer connected to my home network and desktop PC running Minim Server with shared access to my music folder. Using the Eversolo control app, I am trying to figure out why when using Minim Server to scroll thru my A-Z music library via upnp on ipad, only partial library is listed (always stops at G stating "no more data") BUT... when I scroll thru in the exact same way on Android, I can can access my entire library? I have tested using a different upnp media server on ipad and can access my entire library. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. |

Please clarify a few points in your post.

RE: Only part library on iPadOS
Hi Simon,
1. My music folder is on my desktop PC. 2. On Android, I'm scrolling thru my library (by folder) using the Eversolo control app (selecting the upnp option). My Android device (mobile) is connected to my home network via wifi (as is my iPad). 3. Windows media server. It is running on my dektop PC. When selecting the upnp option within the Eversolo control app, it lists the current available media servers on the network. Hope this info helps. Happy to DM screenshot video if needed. Many thanks |

RE: Only part library on iPadOS
I haven't seen this before. I think it is likely to be caused by a bug in the iPad version of the Eversolo app. So that I can confirm this, please do the following:
1) From the taskbar minim icon on your Windows PC, select Show log 2) In the log window, change the logging level to Debug 3) Leave the log window open 4) Scroll through your MinimServer library using your iPad 5) When you see 'No more data', select 'Save as' in the MinimServer log window to save a log file 6) Zip or compress the log file (this step is important) and either attach the log file to a forum post or upload it somewhere and PM me a download link 7) In the log window, set the logging level back to Info |

RE: Only part library on iPadOS
Thanks for sending the log file. The Eversolo app is trying to read the list of folders in chunks, 40 folders at a time. There are 496 folders in total. The logic for reading the folders appears to be faulty. The app is doing the following:
read folders 0-39 read folders 40-495 read folders 40-79 read folders 80-495 read folders 80-119 read folders 120-495 read folders 120-159 read folders 160-495 read folders 160-199 read folders 200-495 After this, the Eversolo app doesn't read anything more. MinimServer is responding correctly to all the above requests. |

Thank you for looking at this Simon. I shall raise this with their technical team who are usually extremely helpful in addressing bugs.

RE: Only part library on iPadOS
I have almost the same problem on a QNAP NAS running minimserver 2.2. When I try to add my library to Eversolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 it seems like minimserver crash/stop working afer some time and only some of the music is added (about 20 000 of 124 000 tracks). Have to restart the NAS to get minimserver running again. Using a Sony Android phone.

RE: Only part library on iPadOS
This sounds like the same issue with the EverSolo app not reading the full library. To confirm this, try using a different app such as BubbleUPnP to read the library. If this shows the full library, the problem is in the EverSolo app.

RE: Only part library on iPadOS
Or it's in the player. Also happens when I use the setup meny on the player. Have both BubbleUPnP and BubbleDS on the phone and no problems with the library.
