Installing Minimserver2 on DS110j with DSM 5.2

Hi all,

I'm following the very clear instructions for installing minimserver 2 on my synology ds110j (running DSM 5.2).

I have imported the minimworld.pub certificate and am now trying to manually install the MinimServer-2.2-1001-armv5.spk package file (which I believe is the correct one for the ds110j).

I receive the error message 'this package is not supported on the platform of diskstation'

Wondered if anybody could shed any light on this problem?

Some time ago Synology deliberately crippled DSM 5.2 to disable Package Center and also disable manual download and installation of packages. Packages that were installed before this change are still able to run.

Thanks for that. So annoying of them. Had minimserver 0.8 working great previously, but updated the 1tb drive to a 3tb, hence me trying to do a new install. Thanks for the prompt and helpful (though not of Synology!) response!
