Multiple TPE2 Tags
Hi, i am using minimserver 2.2 update 246.
i would like to use multiple Albumartist tags in my library. I can easily tag my music with multiple TPE2 Tags, but none of these Tags show up in the renderer.
They only show up if i use only one single TPE2 tag.
Example:
TPE2=Hans Jürgen Stockerl, Nils Nelleßen, Judith Mauthe
shows up in the renderer, i can search for any part of the name and the tag is found

When tagging with multiple Tags
TPE2=Hans Jürgen Stockerl TPE2=Nils Nelleßen TPE2=Judith Mauthe
none of them shows up, all three TPE2 Tags seem to be completely ignored.
I can find none, search shows no result.

Is it possible to make TPE2 tags behave the same way as TPE1 or TCON tags. These can have multiple values.

RE: Multiple TPE2 Tags
MinimServer doesn't support multiple AlbumArtist tag values within the same album. You can use multiple Artist tag values. For more information about this, see this post and this post.

If you look in the MinimServer log, you will see warning messages for all your albums that are tagged with mutiple AlbumArtist values.

Ok, can you tell me, what the frame name of MainArtist is in id3v2.4? I am using python mutagen for tagging.

RE: Multiple TPE2 Tags
This would be tagged as a TXXX frame.

RE: Multiple TPE2 Tags
The other alternative is to use a different frame for storing multiple values as album artist, you can then index that frame so you can browse by the individual album artist. But it doesn't affect the actual ALBUMARTIST field and therefore doesnt break MinimServers logic
