Path for HEOS.
I know that I've missed something, although I've searched the Forum...I thought thoroughly.
I've added a Denon HEOS powered speaker to my network. I'm trying to use the HEOS iPhone app as a control point but I cannot seem to get the correct path for the network share. I'm running MinimServer on a Synology NAS and the path that I've tried (among others) is: //NASname/volume1/MinimServer/appData and the same thing without the volume. Neither work. Clearly my ignorance is getting the upper hand. What am I dong wrong? |

There is a step-by-step guide on this page. The screenshots are a bit outdated but the procedure is still the same.

Simon,
I think that the US East Coast heat wave has affected my brain. I just realized that I was looking in the wrong place on the HEOS app. There's a'Music Server' button. There were my MinimServers. Ouch! Sorry to waste your time! |
