Index tags
Hi,
I've changed my indexTags in Minimserver to include 'soloists', but it's not showing on my device. Is there a way to check that where I've added it is being picked up? |

RE: Index tags
After making this change, you need to do a rescan. Also, are you sure the tag name in your files is Soloists rather than Soloist?

RE: Index tags
Hi, nothing happened. I'm not sure my device is reading the change. Might have to do with the path?

RE: Index tags
I am not sure which device or path you mean. What device are you using to run MinimServer and what device are you using to browse your library?

RE: Index tags
Are you sure your files are tagged with Soloists tags? Did you add these tags to the files yourself using a tagging program?

RE: Index tags
You can use the writeAllTags MinimServer property to create a listing that contains all the tag names and values in your library. Once you've made the change you'll need to perform a rescan before the file is created.
This will help you identify the available tags for use in IndexTags. What app are you using on your iPad/iPhone as some have their own cache and need rebuilding e.g. Lumin, Naim (I think). |

RE: Index tags
The next step is to use the writeAllTags property (as simbun has suggested) to check whether MinimServer is reading the Soloists tags you have added to your files.
