Kazoo is only playing WAV files , nothing else...going through your posts again we send you the Kazoo screenshots , because we cannot see "Matrix" anywhere...??? and screenshots of our Minim settings ...Thanks ...!!!

What is Main Room as shown in the Kazoo screenshots? Is this the Matrix or some other player? Do you have any other players as well as the Matrix?

"Main Room" is Settings Page of Kazoo when we are streaming to Matrix...there is NO Matrix box shown , only the subnet 192.168.2.0(enO)
which we assumed was a auto connection to Matrix as we can always play WAV files without any settings in Minim...the playlist selected on Kazoo will appear on the Matrix MA app... That is the difference , when we play over Qfile or mconnectLite player , a MATRIX box comes up for connection , before play...!!! |

This "Main Room" screen for Kazoo is normal. Kazoo automatically connects to the player that was used previously.
Is is just WAV files that play on Kazoo or do MP3, FLAC, etc. play as well? |

Yes, both WAV and FLAC play well on Kazoo...we don't have mp3 file...

Thanks for this. I have asked Matrix Audio if they can provide an element i demo unit on loan for me to do some testing and they have agreed to do this. When I receive this unit, I will run some tests to replicate what you are doing and I will post back here with the results.

I have not received the loan unit and the person who should be sending it to me (the UK distributor for Matrix Audio) is not responding to my emails about this. I will keep chasing.

Sorry for the late reply , Holiday and than a new QNAP NAS TS473 with more to learn...!!!
I hope that you will receive a Matrix unit , if not , maybe there is a way to find the transcode path through QNAP ...??? |
