I presume that you can now remove this instance of BubbleUPNP server, if only to avoid any future confusion.

Yes, I did just that, thanks! Just can't think why it was there...

RE: Download link error 3
I'm starting to feel very embarrassed by this, but with the help of Bel Canto Design, I found there was a firmware update that should enable my REFStream to support AAC. I've installed this, but now can't get DASH or HLS to play at all, either with or without transcoding to WAV and stream limits. If anyone can help, I've attached a debug log.

All my audio files (AIFF) are playing as normal.

Many thanks!

RE: Download link error 3
From this log, it looks like you didn't set streamSize. Because of this, the renderer is closing the connection as it did in the previous logs you posted. Please try setting streamSize without doing WAV transcoding.

Thanks! The attached is the log with streamSize=100MB.

RE: Download link error 3
Thanks for this. MinimServer is correctly sending a length of 100MB. The renderer starts to reads the stream data, then closes the connection.

Are you sure the new renderer firmware supports AAC/ADTS? AAC can also be used in MP4/M4A, which is a different format. The BBC streams use AAC/ADTS.

RE: Download link error 3
BCD were unable to confirm the type of AAC supported! I've contacted the OEM, engineered SA, but haven't received a response. If the renderer doesn't support AAC/ADTS, then why am I now unable to transcode after the firmware update, which previously worked? I've attached the log with both transcoding and stream limit applied.

RE: Download link error 3
Thanks for this. Everythng looks as expected on the MinimServer side until the renderer closes the connection as in the other logs.

Are you able to play a local WAV file on the renderer? If so, it is possible that the new renderer firmware might be checking the length in the WAV header. Please try using aac:wav24-100MB in addition to the streamSize setting. If this doesn't work, it would seem there is something in the new renderer firmware that conflicts with these streams.

RE: Download link error 3
Setting acc:wav24-100MB allowed play again. I've also done a quick test and the stream limit of the renderer still appears to be 2000MB.

I'll see if BCD/engineered SA get back to me about AAC support, but which streams use MP4/M4A? I would not mind testing this.

Many thanks again!

RE: Download link error 3
MP4/M4A is not a streaming format. It can only be used for files.
