RE: Formatting Genre String
Another question. I did the the same with songs by an artist and a featured artist. In Musicbee it looks okay l. In bubbleupnp I cannot see the artist 1 & artist 2 in the ist of artists. So somehow it is working.
But I can't find the item below artist 1 nor artist 2. Is this what I can expect? |

RE: Formatting Genre String
What tag name are you using for the artist and featured artist? If the tag name is Artist, check the All Artists index as well as the Artist index.

RE: Formatting Genre String
Ah. That's interesting. All Artists shows up related, featured artists and then the songs in which the co-operation takes place. My understanding right now is that I have two ways playing music of artist 1. One is a list of items performed by artist 1 alone and another way is a list of songs performed by artis 1 including all cooperations. Is that right?

RE: Formatting Genre String
The Artist index shows the AlbumArtist tag value for the album if there is one. If there is no AlbumArtist tag, the Artist index shows all Artist tags for all tracks of the album.
The All Artists index shows all Artist tags for all tracks of all albums. It does not show AlbumArtist tags. |
