RE: minimserver and synology 1513+
I only have one port (the 1) connected to 1513+. When I am looking with "bonjour", I found ly diskstation with an IPV6 number and it does not work. maybe the problem is coming from there?

I just have: http://fe80::211:32ff:fe1e:8ab3:5000 and nothing works. If I manually place http://192.168.0.24:5000, it id fine and open the web page with diskstation!

OK, this is likely to be the cause of the problem. Can you configure the DiskStation and the switch/router to use IPv4 only?

From this page:

On the IPv6 Setup page, choose between the different setup types:
 Auto: DiskStation will automatically generate a local IPv6 address. This is generated based on DiskStation's MAC address.
 DHCP: DiskStation will automatically get an IPv6 address from the DHCP server which supports IPv6.
 Manual: Set up IPv6 manually by entering
 Off: Disable IPv6 support.

The last setting seems best. This should be similar on the DS1513+.

RE: minimserver and synology 1513+
Yes I have finally found the solution!

In fact the way the firewall works is not very clear and it seems that I had block everything rather to unblock everything

Now I just hope that nobody will try to come on my disk station

The way it work is like in this image

If I click on the box, it does not works.

And now the next problem is: how to have the whole songs in Kinski. Each time I launch a full album; I only have the first song...

AT the end I know that it will work very well but the road is long before everything is perfect

The check boxes are saying "activate this firewall rule to block the specified connections". So leaving them unchecked doesn't do any blocking.

You should be able to modify the firewall rules to allow connections to MinimServer only. I don't have a Synology NAS, so I can't give any details for how to do this.

Regarding the "first song" problem: what device are you using as the renderer? Kinsky will do this if you are not using a Linn DS as the renderer.

I use Kinski with PS Audio DAC MKII. then it just play the first song and stop. With eLyric, it works but it is buggy and does not work as well as kinski

I'm not aware of any solution to this problem. You could ask about it on the Linn forum.

If you have an Android device, you could try using BubbleUPnP as the control point. What device are you using to run Kinsky?
