Track stops after aprox. 1min. playing

Hi there
Minimserver is running on Synology DS218pay streaming to Pioneer N-30 NAP.
Some albums tracks simply jums to the next after about 1 min. playing and some just stops playing. I can scroll thru albums, artists etc or switch radio but nothing happens so I have to reset N-30. This happens only with albums I have downloaded within last week or so. But they play well when streaming via DS218pay server so they are not corrupted I guess.

There are no problems in this log. The file King Crimson - In The Court Of The Crimson King/01-21st Century Schizoid Man.flac (167157442) is being streamed (starting at 16:38:42) and was still being streamed at the end of the log.

As a first step, please try powering all your equipment off and on again.

Thanx for quick reply, Simon. The track is running but there's no sound from 1:01 min. I powered off all equipment according to your advices in previous posts for 5+ min. couple of times , I uninstalled Minimserver completely and installed it again without any result.
Maybe it's time to change my network player, as Pioneer seemingly forgot about updating firmware since 2014 .

Something is strange here if the Synology server is playing these correctly and MinimServer isn't.

There is a situation where the download can be so quick that the player is overwhelmed by the amount of data sent by the server. MinimServer has a way to slow this down and this would be worth trying. Take a look at the Flow control section of the User guide.

But i can't find how to change server properties?

As it says in the section, you could start by trying flowControl=2x.

Yes i did it and then rebooted all equipment - same result: sound disappears at 1:11 then counts to 1:21, again starts from 1:11 and on and on and on ..... and renderer shuts down at last in aprox. 5 min.

This log shows the problem very clearly. After 1:12, the player stops reading from the server. By this time, it has read 26 MB of data. After this, it never starts reading again.

What is the resolution of this file? From the log, I can see that it is FLAC and it is 167 MB in size. What FLAC compression level does it use?

I could't find info about compression level.

Thanks for this information. Unfortunately it doesn't say anything about the FLAC compression level.

You could try transcoding the file to WAV. This does the FLAC decompression on the server instead of on the player. If the problem is related to FLAC compression, this might solve it.

To enable this transcoding, install MinimStreamer and relaunch, then put flac:wav in the stream.transcode field, then restart MinimServer.
