Reading music files that have been grouped
I have ripped my CDs on dBpoweramp and tagged them with mp3tag. Since they are mostly classical CDs, I use group tags to combine movements from different compositions.
There is an issue when trying to play a grouped album using Minim Server since playing will stop after the first group of tracks is completed. Is there a workaround? |

RE: Reading music files that have been grouped
This problem is caused by a limitation of your control point. Which control point are you using?

RE: Reading music files that have been grouped
The UPnP browser for foobar2000 creates a hierarchy where groups are underneath albums and selecting an album for playing does not select the groups that the album contains. You can work around this by right-clicking each group and adding it to the current playlist. Alternatively, you can use a different control point such as Linn Kinsky, which handles groups correctly.

RE: Reading music files that have been grouped
Apart from Linn Kinsky and Bubbleupnp, do you know of other control points which handle groups properly?

Which platform are you using to run the control point?

RE: Reading music files that have been grouped
I tried mconnect and Hi-Fi Cast. mconnect wouldn't play more than a single group. Hi-Fi Cast worked perfectly.
