Mac instal

i have tried to instal minim server on my mac with no success. i have gone thru your instal directions and still nothing .the only icon i see is the gray one. what am i doing wrong?

If MinimServer has installed correctly and is running, there will be a transparent minim icon (musical note) in the menu bar. Is this the grey icon you are seeing? Clicking on this icon should produce a pop-up menu with options including Rescan, Properties, etc.
