There are about 2800 folders, 28000 files, totalt 750 GB.
I don't know if there are large tags. How can I find out? And I don't know where check the setting for indexTags. I think I remember having ticked off for "index" somewhere, but can't find the way back to it now.

MinimServer is intended to handle up to 100,000 tracks. I'll put together a diagnostic build that will report memory usage. This should give me an idea of what is consuming such a large amount of memory. I'll also add code to the diagnostic build to stop gracefully when it gets an "out of memory" error. This should enable MinimWatch to see it across the network.

I'll need to send you a diagnostic build of MinimWatch as well. What platform (PC or Mac) will you be using to run MinimWatch?
Thanks for your support. My clients are pcs (Win-7).

From looking at the log again. MinimServer seems to be in a "stopped" state where it would be visible to MinimWatch across the network, but not visible to a UPnP control point. Can you try installing MinimWatch to confirm that this is working?

I can do that after working hours. I'll respond later when I have installed MinimWatch and seen if it works.

I've sent you a PM with download links for the diagnostic version and instructions for how to run the test. Many thanks!

Thanks to Simon who eagerly investigated the problem I had. It turned out to be huge numbers in the tag DISKNUMBER that allocated excessive java heap space and eventually made the server stop.
A new version of the server solved the problem, and I've cleaned my DISKNUMBER tags.
Now I enjoy the functionality of the server. It's so easy to find the music I'm looking for.

Thanks very much for your help with running the tests to identify the problem. The next release will have a fix that rejects incorrect DISCNUMBER values instead of causing an "out of memory" error.
