MinimServer stuck at restarting
I installed MinimServer on a Synology DS411+ii. First installed Java 8. The installation did not report any problems. Setting up the contentDir worked fine.
Then I installed MinimWatch on my PC, and started rescan. Since then MinimWatch is yellow and shows "Starting MinimServer" in the mouse over.
The log reads as follows:

Error: java.nio.channels.ClosedByInterruptException at offset 0 in file 2a 44.1/Anda, Geza/Schumann, Robert - Etudes Symphoniques, Carnaval, Kreisleriana/33-etudes Symphoniques, Op13 - etude 9 (Presto possibile).flac (length 6322904)
stopping MinimServer[DS411PlusII]
MinimServer[DS411PlusII] is stopped
Language setting is 'enu'
Current time is Tue Sep 20 11:16:15 CEST 2016 in time zone Europe/Amsterdam
starting MinimServer[DS411PlusII]

UPDATE: MinimServer has since turned green and all seems to be well

RE: MinimServer stuck at restarting
I think the message means that you restarted MinimServer while it was scanning your library. The initial scan takes a long time because it is building the MinimServer cache.

That's probably what it was. The java line in the log threw me ....

RE: MinimServer stuck at restarting
I understand that users might be surprised/alarmed by this message. In the next update, the message won't appear unless debug logging is enabled.

RE: MinimServer stuck at restarting
Thanks Simon, that would help.
Could the mouse over also be adapted to something like "initial scan in progress"?

This isn't quite as simple as it sounds. The long delay is caused by a full scan (i.e., not using the cache) and this can occur on a rescan as well as on the initial scan. Also, if there are multiple content directories, it is possible for some of these to require a full scan while others don't. I will add this to the list of requested enhancements and think about how it might be implemented.

RE: MinimServer stuck at restarting
just noticed that the "starting MinimServer" mouse over bubble also appears when I initiate a rescan (instead of a "scanning" bubble.

This is because the rescan process currently also requires a restart.
