Pi + latest Moode Audio = NO NEED to transcode

I remain very impressed with the capabilities of Minimstreamer but would like to flag up that the latest test version of Moode Audio (for the Raspberry Pi) is now able to playback HLS BBC streams without any transcoding.

Moode Audio is easy to configure as an OpenHome UpPN renderer and my Pi outputs a very good sound via an attached IQ Audio DAC+. Given what I paid for the Pi and this DAC I'm a v. happy man

I think this might've been due to their inclusion of MPD 0.19.15
